Scaffold and Crane removal at Peloton Avenue

Dear Neighbours

Re: Chobham Manor, Stratford – Scaffold Removal Peloton Avenue and Mobile Crane

We are writing to you to inform you that from 23 October it will be necessary to close one lane of Peloton Avenue to allow for the removal of some of the scaffold from Phase 2-A.

This work will not affect any parking or access but a scaffold trailer will be parked alongside the hoarding in Peloton Avenue near to Honour Lee Avenue. During this time, there will be construction vehicles working in the area. We apologise for any inconvenience but we shall ensure that regular road sweeping takes place to remove any debris created.

On Wednesday 31 October we are expecting to start removing the final tower crane on 2-A, to allow us to do this we will be siting a mobile crane on Peloton Avenue, this will not interfere with any parking spaces and will have a traffic marshal in attendance to ensure safety.

The work will take place during normal site working hours 07.45-18.00 We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and will ensure that all working areas are kept clean, tidy and secure.

Crane at Peloton Avenue

Dear Neighbours

Re: Chobham Manor, Stratford – Crane lifting Peloton Avenue

We are writing to you to inform you that from 16th October 2018 it will be necessary to close part of Peloton Avenue to allow pre-cast flooring to be lifted in to place on 2B-D.

Unfortunately, for health and safety assurance it will be necessary for parking spaces 4,5 6 and 7 to be suspended to allow for the work to take place this will be until Friday 19th October. Alternative parking is available in any unmarked parking bay, this has been agreed with the parking control company.

The work is going to involve the closure of one lane on Peloton Avenue while the work takes place.  A full traffic management plan will be in place to ensure pedestrian and vehicular safety.

The work will take place during normal site working hours 08.30-16.30 and for health and safety reasons all work carried out will be separated from the public using Heras fencing.

We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and will ensure that all working areas are kept clean, tidy and secure.

We trust this information is useful and if you have any questions please contact Matthew Aylen, Regeneration Performance Manager by email at matt.aylen@taylorwimpey.com. If you are interested in finding out more about the Chobham Manor site please visit our websites:

Works have started on Phase 3

Dear Residents,

Re: Chobham Manor, Stratford – Development Phase 3-A and Phase 3-E

We are writing to give you a quick update on work that is taking place across Chobham Manor.

We have now started on the third phase of the build, this phase is split into 5 separate sub phases; Phase 3-A, 3-B, 3-C, 3-D and 3-E, see drawings below:

Initially we will be working in sub phases 3-A and 3-E there will be 105 properties in 3-A and 32 Properties in 3-E which also contains a community facility and a Nursery. The enabling works for the piling is taking place with the expectation of the pre-boring to have commenced on the 24 September and the piling to commence following that. We are again working with our environmental consultants to ensure the work causes the least amount of disruption possible.

Whilst work is taking place there will be site managers on site monitoring the noise, vibration and air quality sensors to ensure we do not exceed the set limits.

The piling will not take place outside of the agreed working hours 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday, Chobham Manor site will ensure that this is adhered to.

We trust this information is useful and if you have any questions then please contact Matthew Aylen, Regeneration Performance Manager by email at: matt.aylen@taylorwimpey.com or the 24/7 Park hotline on 0800 0722 110.
