For one week only this October half-term, Queen Elizabeth are hosting the ArcelorMittal Orbit Descender. Are you brave enough to take on the challenge – London’s first controlled descent? Starting from their special platform 80m in the air above Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, you’ll be able to take in stunning views across London before plucking up the courage to step over the edge and start your exhilarating journey to the ground!
To take part in the ArcelorMittal Orbit Descender you must be aged 14 or over, at least 1.2m high and not under the influence of alcohol or drugs. It is not suitable for pregnant women, or if you have a medical condition that may put your safety or the safety of others at risk. To be able to fit into the harness, you must have a waist of under 130cm and thighs of under 75cm, and weigh under 19 stone. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
