Community Facility Operator Brief

L&Q (on behalf of Chobham Manor LLP – Joint Venture between L&Q and Taylor Wimpey) is looking for a suitable Community Facility Operator. We’re looking for a voluntary, community or social enterprise (VCSE) organisation to develop and operate our community facility at Chobham Manor, located close to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford, E20.

The successful VCSE must provide a high-quality community facility providing a hub for local residents and the wider community with a range of social, economic, recreational and learning opportunities whilst promoting equality, diversity and community cohesion.

Required information

In response to this brief, Chobham Manor LLP would like to see a plan outlining:

 

Outline Guideline
Who you are and what you do 1 page max
Your relevant knowledge and experience 3 pages max
Your Business Plan for this endeavour, including but not limited to the following:

  • Your ambition for the facility including a detailed plan
  • How you will meet both the s106 obligation and scope of requirements set out in this brief
  • A plan for your first 100 days in the space including resourcing and priorities for taking on the facility
  • Provide a financial breakdown to include income, expenditure over the first 12 months additional to your business plan – include how you plan to fund/raise funds associated with the facility fit out.
  • Any changes you would propose to the internal layout of the facility, see Appendix — (changes would need to consider additional costs and shown in your budget breakdown).
  • How you plan to work with the immediate community
