A free project that inspires young women towards STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematical) related careers.

 

For girls aged 10-16 yrs from Newham

 

Building on the success of the February holiday school we are now delivering online.

Two courses will each take place over three mornings:

 

17^th, 18^th and 19^th Aug, 10am – 11.30am

 

20^th, 21^st and 24^th Aug, 10am – 11.30am

 

Activities will involve delving into the career journeys of previous and current highly achieving women

and creating a short film to encourage other girls towards the STEM industries.

 

siSTEMic is funded through the Enrichment offer by Newham Council and is being run in partnership with Eastside Community Heritage and Salmagundi Films.
