Phase 1 Neighbourhood Survey Published

The LLDC has now published the results of the neighbourhood survey on Chobham Manor Phase 1. We’re really grateful for all of the time that so many residents gave to this, and so we wanted to share it with Chobham Manor residents first, a link to this is below. We previously shared a link on the CM life website to a leaflet which gave a high level summary, this can also be downloaded below.

 

The overall results of the study are positive and confirm that residents feel Chobham Manor is a family friendly area, where people have strong social networks, with some residents describing the 880-home neighbourhood as place that ‘is in London, but with the feel of a small town’.

 

The findings show that the 259 homes built in the first phase of the housing development on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park outperform the average UK new build home in terms electricity, water and heat.

Filming taking place in September

Dear Residents.

 

We hope you are well.

 

We wanted to advise you all that there is going to be some filming and photography taking place around Chobham Manor on 23rd and 30th September 2022.

 

Make Architects will be filming to include the buildings and general shots of the public realm and their aim is to show the community and neighbourhood as a vibrant place to be.

New Weekly Drop In Sessions

Dear Resident

 

We are writing to advise that we will be introducing weekly drop-in sessions. These will be held at the L&Q Site Office on Peloton Avenue.

This will be an opportunity for residents to come in and see us in person, to discuss any issues or concerns they may have.  It will also be an opportunity for us to build a stronger relationship with our residents whilst also being more accessible to our residents across the scheme.

There will 2 separate sessions each week and will start week commencing Monday 12th September 2022.

 

Please see details below:

 

Every Tuesday 10am – 2pm will be run by Neighbourhood Housing Lead, Charleen Plante

Every Wednesday 11am – 3pm will be run by Neighbourhood Housing Lead, Kemi Adeyeri.

 

Please note these will be walk in sessions, so there will be no need to book a slot, you can turn up anytime between the hours stated above on the relevant day.

We will be trialing these sessions for next few months to see how effective they are, so therefore would welcome your feedback as these progress and we will review after this period to see if we need to make any changes to the current structure of the sessions.
